Computers

Sheppard Memorial Library has more 120 computers available for patrons to use at our Main library and branch locations. They include computers for academic or genealogical research, computers to browse the Internet, and computers used exclusively for searching our catalog.

The library offers free high speed Internet and high speed WiFi provided by the City of Greenville at the Main Library, East Branch and Carver Branch. High speed WiFi is provided for the patron at the Winterville Branch and Blount (Bethel) Branch Libraries by the staff of Sheppard Memorial Library.

The Main Library and Winterville Branch Library also offer self-paid printing for patrons as well. We frequently update our computers and services to provide patrons with the best computing experience as possible.

Other Technologies

Not only does Sheppard Memorial Library offer computers and high speed Internet access for patrons but a variety of other technologies including e-audiobooks, e-books, and self-checkout at the circulation desk.

These technologies allow the patron to not only discover new material and read best-selling novels but it allows the library to further reach patrons. Please check back with our staff as we incorporate new technologies in the library system.
